NPBC Junior Program
A structured learning pathway for students and early-career professionals entering translational neuroscience.
At NPBC, we believe science must grow with its people. The Junior Program is designed as a progressive pathway where curiosity becomes structured scientific thinking, grounded in ethics, rigor and real-world context.
Program Status
The NPBC Junior Program is currently in a structuring and progressive reactivation phase. Activities are focused on internal orientation, scientific discussions, early project conceptualization and gradual integration into NPBC’s ecosystem.
Purpose
The program aims to build early-stage scientific reasoning by introducing participants to translational neuropathology, experimental thinking, ethical research and the One Medicine framework.
Integration with the NPBC Ecosystem
Participants may progressively engage with NPBC’s scientific ecosystem through its core areas: AXIA as the tissue and biological evidence layer, NeuroQDx as the predictive research and biomedical data layer, and SINAPSIA as the science communication and knowledge translation layer.
This connection allows early-career participants to understand how tissue-based evidence, biomedical interpretation, scientific writing and communication can work together within one translational system.

How It Works
What to Expect
Participants may engage in scientific discussions, internal working groups, structured reading, early-stage project development and mentorship processes. Certifications and opportunities depend on participation, performance and project context.
Important Note
Participation in the NPBC Junior Program does not guarantee employment, funding, authorship or certification. Each outcome depends on the level of engagement, the nature of activities and NPBC’s scientific and ethical criteria.
